Charles Mandivenyi – Co-Founding Director

Charles Mandivenyi is one of the directors and an experienced strategic information management practitioner with technical, analytical, and information system management skills.

Charles has worked for various international agencies including USAID, UNDP, Save the Children Alliance as well as the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.

His extensive development experience in Southern and East Africa includes program design, planning and implementation in various sectorsincluding health and HIV and AIDS, democracy and governance, and humanitarian assistance information management.  Charles is also an accomplished and accreditedEnvironmental and Monitoring Mitigation Specialist. With respect to experience in the health sector, he has worked with the Global Fund, and PEPFAR and performed data quality assessments; quantitative and qualitative analysis; performance monitoring and evaluation; and health management information systems and surveillance.

He is a member of the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA) and the American Evaluation Association. As Senior Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor at USAID, he developed the first agency-wide Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for evaluations at the mission level, which has now become a standard for most regional USAID Missions.
